Round 1 — Problem Solving

The interviewer shared a document where we collaborated on the approach and I coded the solution directly in the doc.

Problem 1: Given a list of numbers where all occur twice except one, find that number. I discussed approaches and implemented the XOR bit manipulation solution.

Problem 2: A LeetCode Hard problem on string transformations.

Round 2 — System Design

I was asked to build a vehicle rental service (like ZoomCar) with explicit focus on low-level design — data models, class structures, and object relationships.

Round 3 — Culture Fitment

Behavioral round covering:

• How I would mentor an SDE-1 aiming for SDE-2 promotion
• How I handle pressure and deadline stress
• A technical deep-dive example from my experience

This round evaluated my ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Outcome: I received the offer after the final round and accepted!
