SE: recruiter screen only (resume, projects, salary expectation); did not advance past screen

Applied through AngelList Talent. Recruiter then contacted me and set up the call. Recruiter asked me about my resume and past experience, my role and my project, then my salary expectation. I didn't pass to the next step. I think I could pass if I could elaborate the discussion more clearly and lower my salary expectation. The screen covered resume, role, projects and compensation expectations.
