Expedia SDE-2 Bengaluru — 2 DSA, LLD password manager; reject

YOE: 3 YEARS. Applied through referral.

So Expedia has 4 rounds in general. Recruiter informed that there will be no HLD rounds for SDE-2. First 2 rounds will be done on alternative days. Based on the results next 2 rounds will be scheduled.

Round 1: DSA round - Easy/Medium. One based on Strings, another one was on sliding window.

Round 2 : DSA round - Medium

1. Variation of rod cutting DP problem
2. Tree Problem
   Feedback was positive, next 2 rounds scheduled.

Round 3: LLD round. Was asked to design a password management system involving create, edit, forgot password using token generation and other password policies. Tried implementing the code following SOLID principle, used singleton, strategy and observer patterns. Though interviewer seemed little unsatisfied.

Round 4 : Managerial/Behavioural Round. Expect the interviewer to grill you based on your resume. Standard scenario based system design/distributed systems questions.

After this, recruiter informed me that LLD round feedback was not positive. Verdict - Rejected
