SDE2 Backend: R1 topological sort + backend Qs, R2 theoretical (concurrency, DS internals, normalisation), R3 HLD insurance search; rejected in R3
Round 1: This was a ds/algo round, was asked to solve a standard topological sort question, at the end some time was left so the interviewer asked some backend related questions on db, design. Round 2: This was a completely theoretical round, asking about core concepts like multithreading/concurrency in Java, how certain data structures work like hash map, ordered map, design principles, normalisation etc. Round 3: Design round, was asked to design the HLD of an internal problem which Multiplier deals with — an insurance programme searching problem based upon different countries. Verdict: Rejected in the third round, got a negative feedback.
