SE (Java): 5 rounds — HR, pair coding (recursion), tech discussion, CTO round (design), CTO+Founder+HR offer
I applied via an agent to a Java developer position. There are 5 rounds: 1. HR scanning: no technical requirements, just talking about projects and motivation. 2. Pair coding: not so tough or tricky, quite straightforward; the pairing developer gave suggestions to improve, not to fail you. Some practice with arrays and recursion on Codility and Hackerrank helps. 3. Technical interview: a discussion about the technology that you used and know, no coding tasks. 4. CTO round: the CTO is really a tech geek with deep knowledge from design to code; you might be asked an assignment of code design (design patterns help). 5. CTO, Founder, and HR: offer, compensation policy, vision sharing, and Q&A. The process was quick, transparent and straightforward.
