Fair on-campus process (only 1 of 13 selected): offline OA then a resume-heavy backend technical round
This was an oncampus opportunity in the month of August.
First Round - Offline OA
By far the best and most fair assessment
- 3 DSA Questions for 90 mins (2 Heap Based Questions, 1 Graph Question)
- 15 MCQ Questions on Computer Fundamental Concepts
I was able to solve the graph question completely and other two solutions were partially accepted(10/15 and 12/15 tc).
13 people were shortlisted, me being one of them. Interviews were scheduled on the same day.
My resume was backend heavy so I was assigned with the interviewer in the same domain.
Two DSA Questions
- Majority Element 2
- Count Strings with given Prefixes (Given N prefixes and M Strings. Count the number of strings for each given prefix where M > N).
Interviewer went through the Resume line by line and asked questions from all my previous experiences.
- He quite emphasized Multithreading in OS.
- Design a Queue which is independent of MultiThreading
- In DBMS, he asked What is ACID and how does MySQL satisfy Isolation property.
- Write a basic shell script to display system time according to a given logic.
- What is REST Framework
- Some questions on APIs.
- OOPs concept
Final - Rejected
Interviewer was quite helpful but asked alot of counter questions.
All in all it was a fair process as only one person was selected out of 13.
