Product-thinking round on app improvements; disorganized process, non-product interviewer

Interview
The interviewer himself was not from a product background, which can be a reason why there was no real connection. He asked me pointers on how to improve Zomato and one of my answers was to introduce a way in which "I can see what my friends are ordering/recommending". The interviewer ended up saying he's trying to find a positive signal in my answers. Lo and behold - zomato has literally released the exact recommendation I stated in that interview (for which I was denied). The entire process was supremely confusing and unorganized even on the HR level. My interview was scheduled without even a call or a conversation over email. Highly disappointing.
